About MagPort Renovations

Our Story

John Magruder and Blake Porter formed MagPort Renovations to address the growing demand for residential and commercial remodeling in the Bryan/College Station area. John and Tyan Magruder founded Magruder Homes in 2007 with a focus on bringing a unique approach to new construction, and still remain committed to that focus today.

After Blake Porter joined the Magruder Homes team in 2018, they quickly realized they had an opportunity to create a venture that could keep Magruder Homes focused on new construction, while meeting the regular requests for remodels simultaneously. Blake & his wife, Suzanne, are the primary points of contact for MagPort Renovations.

Suzanne Porter, of Suzanne Porter Design, has been in the interior design industry for over a decade and lends her expertise to MagPort clients through the selections process.
